Svaki Benelli motocikl poseduje jedinstven karakter obeležen vrhunskim dizajnom i sportskim izgledom. Kompanija iz Pesara implementira najinovativnije koncepte dizajna zahvaljujući iskustvu svog centra za istraživanje i razvoj. Dodatno, Benelli se oslanja na rasprostranjenu, efikasnu i pouzdanu globalnu dilersku mrežu.
Od 2005. godine Benelli je deo QJIAN JIANG grupacije koja je stekla lidersku poziciju u Kini u oblasti proizvodnje motocikala. QJIAN JIANG grupacija godišnje proizvodi 1.200.000 vozila uz pomoć 14.000 zaposlenih koji rade u najmodernijoj fabrici veličine omanjeg grada. Fabrika se nalazi u Wenlingu na oko 500 km od Šangaja.Istorijski brend iz Pesara proširio je svoje vidike. Benelli je spreman za izazove b udućnosti zahvaljući pristupu koji spaja najbolje iz oba sveta – italijansku genijalnost, stil i inženjering i globalnu viziju grupacije veličine QJ-a. Novi modeli obeleženi su istorijom Benelli-ja, originalnim dizajnom i snagom brenda. Naša priča

1911 ~ 1934

Šestorica braće, jedna priča. Njihova vizija postala ušla je u legendu. Bilo je to 1911. godine kada je Teresa Benelli, udovica, uložila sav kapital svoje porodice u osnivanje radionice kako bi svojim sinovima osigurala stabilna primanja. Šestorica sinova bili su Giuseppe, Giovanni, Filippo, Francesco, Domenico i Antonio ’Tonino’ Benelli. Na početku, bavili su se samo servisiranjem i proizvodnjom nekih komponenti za automobile i motocikle. Braća su imala daleko veće ambicije. Želeli su da proizvode sopstvene motocikle. Šest godina kasnije, 1919. godine, proizveli su prvi pogon. Dvotaktni motor sa 75 cc koji su ugradili na šasiju bicikla. Rezultat nije bio zadovoljavajući. Decembra 1921. godine pojavio se prvi, pravi Benelli: Velomotore sa 98cc dvotaktnim motorom u Touring i Sport varijanti. Dve godine kasnije proizvedena je verzija sa 147cc sa kojom je Tonino Benelli otpočeo pobednički niz na trkama širom Evrope.Sledeći korak desio se 1926. godine. Giuseppe Benelli kreirao je novi motocikl sa četverotaktnim motorom sa 175cc i performansama koje su parirale motociklima sa većim motorima. Tonino Benelli i ovaj motor zaslužni su za bezbroj trijumfa na trkama kao i za titule na šampionatima 1927, 1928, 1930 i 1931. godine. Rast proizvodnje i uspesi u prodaji doveli su do proširenja fabrike, a 1932. godine i do kupovine paviljona pilane Molaroni. Dve godine kasnije, 1934. godine Benelli uvodi dva nova trkačka motocikla sa 250 i 500 cc. Šest godina kasnije, 1940. godine Benelli je predstavio dva nova motora, posle čega su do kraja Drugog svetskog rata proizvodili motore za vojsku.

1940 ~ 1950

Kompanija je bila na vrhuncu sa čak 800 zaposlenih, ali je usled Drugog svetskog rata uništena. Savezničko bombardovanje i pljačka od strane nacista sveli su ovu nekada veliku kompaniju na gomilu šuta i nekoliko napuštenih šupa.

Braća Benelli nisu gubili nadu. Po povratku mašina i opreme pretvorili su oko 1000 vojnih motocikala, većinom britanskog porekla, u civilne motocikle, a od 1947. godine nastavili su sa nastupima na trkama.

Godina 1948. bila je ključna: kompanija je uposlila novog pilota, Daria Ambrosinija, a već 14. oktobra su objavili ponovni početak proizvodnje motocikala. Uspesi na trkama doživeli su vrhunac 1950. godine kada je Ambrosini osvoji svetski šampionat u kategoriji 250 kubika.

1950 ~ 1980

Krajem 40ih Giuseppe Benelli, zbog nepremostivih sukoba sa braćom, napušta kompaniju. Bio je to početak Motobi-ja sa klasičnim dvotaktnim i četverotaktnim motorom jajastog oblika. Novi uspesi u trkama i prodaji nisu izostali tokom pedesetih i šezdesetih godina.

Proizvodna aktivnost nastavljena je 1951. godine prezentacijom Leoncina čiji je veliki komercijalni uspeh doveo do pobede Benelli-ja i pilota Tartarinija na Motogiro d’Italia 1953. godine.

Široka paleta modela bila je ključna odrednica Benelli-Motobi-ja šezdesetih godina. Od skutera do Tornada – poslednje originalne kreacije Benelli-ja. Alejandro De Tomaso 1972. godine kupuje fabriku i proširuje paletu modela sa prestižnim motociklom od 750 cc sa šest cilindara.

1988 ~ 2015

Konkurencija iz Japana postajala je sve jača. Pad je bio spor i neizbežan. Godine 1988. Benelli je bio na kolenima. Industrijalac Giancarlo Selci, vlasnik grupe Biesse spasio je kompaniju neizvesne budućnosti 1989. godine kupovinom kompanije. Kompanija se preusmerila na segment skutera sa modelima Devil i Scooty. Činilo se da je nova era uspešno počela. Euforija nije bila dugog veka.

Godine 1995. Merloni grupa kupila je većinski udeo u kompaniji. Andrea Merloni, sin Vittoria Merlonija, preuzeo je vođstvo nad kompanijom. Nov početak obeležio je agresivni skuter 491. Novi ambiciozni projekti, skuteri i sportski motori poput Tornada označili su povratak u Superbike šampionat. Ipak, nova kriza ubrzo je usledila.

Deset godina kasnije, 2005. godine, Benelli postaje deo grupacije Q.J. Kompanije koja upošljava 14.000 ljudi koji u najmodernijim uslovima godišnje proizvode 1.200.000 vozila i 2.000.000 pogona.
Sa kapitalom koji premašuje 750 miliona USDS kompanija je registrovana kao akcionarsko društvo čijim se akcijama trguje na kineskoj berzi od 1999. godine. Kompanija takođe proizvodi kvadove, električne bicikle, kosačice, kolica za golf, generatore, pumpe i drugu baštensku opremu. Petinu svega šta proizvede, kompanija izvozi na svetska tržišta. Qianjiang fokusisran je na kvalitet ususled čega je kompaniji 1997. godine dodeljen ISO 9001 sertifikat.

Sa svežim kapitalom i sinergijom između Italije i Kine, Benelli Q.J. trenutno radi na ponovnom lansiranju na svim svetskim tržištima.

2011. godine Benelli je proslavio stogodišnjicu postojanja.
